Silicone sheeting’s most important characteristic is its ability to withstand extreme temperature. It is a flexible and soft rubber sheet that is non-toxic and thus can be used in the food and medical industry.
Neoprene sheeting has excellent oil and chemical resistant properties. It also fairs well against ozone, water and weather. It also has good abrasive resistance. Its most common usage is oil and water gaskets.
Insertion rubber sheeting has a fabric reinforcing that makes it strong and therefore prevents it from tearing and stretching easily. It is one of the more common rubber sheets on the market and has thousands of uses.
General purpose sheeting is an all purpose rubber sheeting used commonly as seals, gaskets and everyday applications. G.P. sheeting is similar to Insertion sheeting except that it has no nylon re-enforcing.
